Resident DJ Little Buddha
Today i became the "official" Resident DJ of the Little Buddha Bar Amsterdam part of the George V Group.
The George V Eatertainment adventure, based on the radically new idea of creating “living areas” that would combine a restaurant and bar with a live DJ, was launched over a decade ago now.
The Bound, Barrio Latino, Barlotti and the Buddha-bar, the jewel in the group’s crown , rapidly became the coolest hot spots of Paris nights. A brilliant success due in large part to the restaurants’ enchanting and totally unique settings, an inspired and high-quality cuisine, attentive service and a skillfully distilled musical ambiance tailored to each venue.

Buddha-bar
Dining at the Buddha-bar means removing yourself from the frenzy of urban life and plunging into a rejuvenating bath. As soon as you've entered this remarkable place with its monumental proportions, you'll be enthralled by the charm of its soothing, exotic atmosphere.
The bar mezzanine, enlaced by 18th wrought-iron balustrades, looks out over the dining area where the gigantic Buddha - the bar's namesake - sits serenely enthroned.
bound
Ideally situated in Paris’ “Golden Triangle”, the Bound opened its doors in September 2005 in the former premises of the renowned B*fly.
“Glamrock” decor for this very hip restaurant that is now one of Paris’ coolest hot spots. A huge pink metallic bar, alcoves with pearl curtains and plasma screens displaying post-modern art, armchairs in metallized crocodile leather and Venetian chandeliers provide a New York touch to this distinctively Parisian bar plus sushi-bar restaurant.
Barrio Latino
This little corner of Havana in the heart of the Bastille is all ready well-known to salsa aficionados. The spectacular 3000 m2 hacienda extends over 4 levels linked by a imposing staircase. Classified as a historical monument, its façade and metal structure are the work of the illustrious Gustave Eiffel.
On the ground floor, a tapas bar and the red bar decorated with bottle caps are warm, friendly areas where you can enjoy tapas at any time of day. In the evening, a contagious frenzy takes over the room and temperature rises as the DJ takes over with his sensual bossa-novas and wild salsa rhythms.
Barlotti
Located at the Place du Marché Saint-Honoré, the restaurant Barlotti cultivates a real passion for Italy and its gastronomy; the menu pays tribute to the recipes of a cuisine high in colour and taste.
Among the restaurant’s specialties, a generous and subtle risotto, served in a variety of versions…
Bushido
A chic and trendy Japanese-inspired setting featuring samurai armors floating in glass cages, refined ornaments and majestic chandeliers… Bushido, the brand new George V Eatertainment concept.
This Restaurant / Bar / Lounge with an elegant atmosphere unveils a modern and atypical re-interpretation of Ancient Japan.
Combining traditional « Robata » and « Fusion» cuisine in an exceptional setting, Bushido takes you to a world of flavored refinement.
Siddharta cafÉ
Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague welcomes the latest creation of George V Eatertainment: the Siddharta Café.
A modern yet warm and intimate interpretation of the Buddha-Bar concept, this trendy Restaurant-Bar-Lounge offers a brand new dimension to its guests.
In an innovative Pop Art “Eatmosphere”, thanks to its modern features and colourful décor,
transparent lit statues and modern Buddha inspired paintings, comfortable sofas, rich chandeliers and turquoise chairs.
The Chef has created a menu for all tastes and times, that is both sophisticated and contemporary, serving an International Cuisine in an all-day-dining restaurant that can accommodate up to 100 guests (60 in the restaurant and 40 in lounge setting) from 6.30 am to 11.00 am for breakfast, and from 11.30 until late for lunch, snack, diner, drinks… while the DJ plays carefully selected lounge tracks from noon until late and the lounge/bar remains open 24/7
The Siddharta also plays host to the Buddha-Bar Hotel’s Boutique, where guests can purchase
Music, T-shirts, and various keepsakes of their Buddha-Bar Concept experience.
In essence, no matter the time, day or night, Siddharta will always provide the perfect “Eatmosphere”…
Little buddha
After the worldwide success of the Buddha-bar Paris, Raymond Visan and the George V Restauration Group decided to open several restaurants all over the world.
More clubbing but as wonderful as the Buddha bar, the “Little Buddha Cafés” were born in Las Vegas in 2001, in Sharm El Sheikh in 2005 and in Hurghada in 2007.
A concept such as the Buddha bar: Delicious fusion foods, enchanted music help these restaurants to become real headlights of these cities.
Vienna and Orlando, charmed by «Little Buddha”, will also try its taste really soon.
Sanctuary
Sanctuary is a state-of-the-art Nightclub in ultra chic Palm Island, Dubai.

De feestvierders van vandaag mogen van groot geluk spreken. Na deze dag zijn flinke hoosbuien aangekondigd, maar de organisatie van Free Your Mind lijkt een deal te hebben gesloten met de weergoden. Het resultaat: een blakende zon met een heerlijk afkoelende bries. Dat gecombineerd met de ligging aan de Nederrijn geeft een waar zon-zee-strandgevoel. Wat wil je nog meer? Goede muziek natuurlijk…
